Cranes
The Crane exhibit along with the Red panda exhibit, the enclosure of Pere David’s deer and aviaries with birds from Tibet and China present the endangered wildlife in China.
The White-naped crane (Grus vipio), together with the majority of the other cranes, is listed as an endangered species. Its habitat is the region of Northeastern Mongolia, Northeastern China and Southeastern Russia.
