Land at about six hectares has been given over to large enclosures, traversed by the Safari road trains. Indeed, the Safari Express weaves its way directly through the various herds of animals. The length of one ride is around 15-20 minutes, giving visitors the chance to see groups of various hoofed mammals from up close. The Safari Park is currently occupied by more than 100 examples of African and Asian fauna.
The Safari Express route runs through three sections, the first being dedicated to Africa (the enclosure for the Rothschild giraffe and eland), continuing on to “Persia” (a paddock with onagers - wild asses, and Mesopotamian fallow deer), and finally to “India” (a section with chitals, the blackbuck, nilgais and barasinghas).
The get on point is under the girraffe enclosure.
Please note that the Safari Express can be discontinued at any time if animal welfare is at stake. r
